  The program, titled "Music for Double Choir," presented a conspectus of developments in Renaissance polyphony through the 16th century, the earliest composer represented being Jean Mouton, born in the mid-15th century,  and continuing through to the early stages of baroque practice with Hieronymus Praetorius, who died in 1629.
